Emily and Kyle – Unstoppable Love in Pandemic Times

Like many engaged couples, Kyle and Emily were not ready for the challenges 2020 would bring to the wedding planning process. The well planned, large wedding and reception in May quickly turned into a small, private celebration of vows and intimate afterparty hosted by the grooms parents at their family home. 

While it wasn’t what they had originally planned for, much like life, they got EXACTLY what they needed! We kicked off our season of wedding photography that morning at Saint Roberts parish, where we met Kyle and Emily for laid back getting ready portraits and family photos. We were so happy to get family and friends involved by joining our live stream as they tied the knot at their private catholic ceremony. We could feel the love and joy as viewers commented through the computer screen!!

From there, our intimate party moved to the outdoors, where we began our celebrations by meeting a few friends outside who helped us with action shots! (I’m still sorry about the rice in your hair.. it was well worth it!!) lol

The party then moved to the beautiful Gorman family home in Racine, WI,  where we were greeted with champagne, cake, great conversation, a tour of the rad garage, a beautiful slideshow, and drone photography and video. The backyard pond and family home made for the perfect intimate photographs that will no doubt be cherished for years to come! 

We look forward to making more memories at their joyous reception in August at The Atrium, and and we couldn’t be more grateful for this unique opportunity that we will remember for a lifetime!
