Amber and Stephan’s Blossoming Family

SOMETIMES working as a photographer living in Wisconsin, you have to get a little creative with a special session such as this in the winter.

When Amber contacted me to shoot her maternity session, I was so excited to try something new especially since the winter had pressed well into March and I was about over it! I knew Stephan and Amber from shooting their lovely wedding back in 2018.

Sticking with my main photography motto “Better to ask forgiveness than beg for permission”, we headed to Milaeger’s Greenhouse in Sturtevant where we were delightfully surprised by being welcomed with open arms by their manager! She even showed us around to the greenhouses with the most blooms!

From there, we continued to get plenty of gorgeous shots of Amber and her supportive husband Stephan among the growing flowers. They even brought their adorable dogs for a few family shots!

Since then, their daughter Amelia has been born and we are so excited for them as they start their new parenting journey!
